It's been a while. I know I haven't been around, and I apologize.
I have a new apartment. It's pretty boss, and it's no longer in my parent's basement.
I have my kitty, Mal, with me. She's pretty awesome too, except the part where she wont let me blog due to her wanting to strangle my neck with her cat body.
I spent most of december drunk. Honestly, i did. I lived alone, no girlfriend, no job. My world was pretty dark for a while. Then i got a new job.
I met someone awesome. We'll call her Skipper. She's pretty much awesome at everything.
I no longer drink as much.
My days are taken up by the contracting work i have been doing on the side after my job.

Hey
Hi blog. We haven't talked in a while. I just figured I'd fill you in on my life.
My last job? The awesome one i left a good job for? That one was awful. I wanted to run into traffic every day at that new job. Oh, and they fired me 2 weeks before Christmas.
That awesome girlfriend I loved so much? Yeah, we split. She wanted a ring for Christmas, and i wasn't ready. We had a long discussion, and quietly went our own ways.
I live alone, with my cat.
I have a job right now. Just started it actually. Seems pretty cool. I taught my manager a few things about the kitchen on my first day. Funny shit.
Hope you've been doing well blog. I missed you. I promise we'll stay in touch nowadays. I have nothing else to do.

This is my life.
I've fallen away from my friends. All those who I used to talk to are gone. If we used to talk and hang out a lot, come hit me up. My apartment is empty without you.

Here's a post.
Here's the neckbeard so far. Volume is increasing wonderfully. It does look horribly like pubic hair on my neck, which may or may not be a bad thing. I am fully confident that within a couple weeks it will be fuller, and nicer. It has tried multiple times to encroach upon my face, but i have beat it back every time. It's just annoying to see hair from your neck leaking onto your face.
More beardly updates to follow.
Sorry i havent been around much

Week three
Not much to update here. Just posting my weekly update.
The beard. Is growing. It is slowly gaining volume, and looking more like a beard. Hopefully the stupid bald spot covers up soon. I dont like it. the bald spot.

Neckbeard Update week 2?
SO, as promised, another neckbeard update is on its way.
This week, it decided to stop growing out, i guess, and added a small amount of volume.
The girlfriend somehow loves playing with it, in all its disgusting and nasty glory.
It doesn't bother me all that much, except for the fact that when i shave, i have to make sure thejawline lines up, and is clean, but other than that below the jawline is all party.
That could be the tagline for neckbeards. "Business upstairs, Party in the basement"
I will submit that to the neckbeards around the world.
Also, weird bald spot in the center. What The Hell.
Oh, and photographs of me? Yuck. Seriously, I look like i SHOULD live in a basement.

The awkward Church
The following is an account of the time where I went to a Pentecostal church service. Let me start off by saying that I am in no way religious at all. I am dating a wonderful girl whose family is indeed very religious. Ever since I was 12 years old I have had an almost paralyzing fear of people in churches. The worship ceremony is what makes me afraid. People chanting, praying, carrying on and whatnot scare the living crap out of me.
I stepped into the church with plenty of preconceived notions, and past biases. My brain was racing with images of extremely radical Church ceremonies, with people running up and down the aisles screaming and speaking in tongues. Flickering in front of my vision was mental images of Dana Carvey playing the church lady on Saturday Night Live, and mental movies of every radically religious person I had ever seen. The video of the Wife Swap God Warrior replayed in front of my eyes. And then I stepped over the threshold of the church.
In my mind my skin crackled as the flames slowly engulfed my whole form. The booming voice of the Lord saturated every molecule of my being telling me that I had forsaken him. As my skin slowly peeled from my flesh by the flames without heat, I immediately regretted my decision. In reality however, nothing of the sort was happening. As I walked through the doors the sound of people singing washed over me. The fear began rising in my throat, and my feet glued themselves to the floor. I was glad my girlfriend was with me, because she slowly pushed me forward towards the main area of the church where everyone was worshipping.
I was pleasantly surprised. There was not as many people as I thought would be there. The twenty or thirty that were there though were worshipping up a storm though. Banging on tambourines, and dancing to the music created by not one organ, but an organ and a keyboard. Microphones were dotted around the group, so the more talented singers could be heard well. I looked over at Sarah, my aforementioned girlfriend, and gave her the “Do I Really Have To Sing?” look.
“No, you don’t have to sing” she assured me, before I even opened my mouth. We just sat there instead, as I began to soak in my environment. There were a bunch of ladies in bedazzled and bejeweled denim dresses, and the men were all dressed in their “Farmers best”, Which is jeans and a button up shirt. After they finished the singing part of the sermon, the talking part began. Being a more conservative of the Christian churches, The preacher was all fire and brimstone, speaking about The rapture being soon, and the fact that we better accept Jesus before it was too late. I fidgeted in the pew, and started to sweat. Sarah looked over at me and asked if I was okay. I replied with a slight nod, and a fearful look plastered to my face. As the sermon progressed my brain slowly began to adjust to what was happening. All my preconceived notions were coming true.
After the sermon finished, I had the chance to mingle with the patrons. I wasn’t to thrilled about this part, considering my introverted nature. But the people were very accommodating, and very friendly, despite the amount of whooping and hollering that was taking place just minutes before. I was pleasantly surprised.
Although nearly 90% of my preconceived notions were confirmed, I was still wrong about one thing. Knowing that I was in no way religious did not seem to faze them at all. All of the stereotypes I developed about Christians seemed to be confirmed. However I went to one of the most conservative churches in the area, so my results could have been skewed.

My mission in life
To really boil oneself and their mission in life down into a few simple pages doesn’t really make sense. There are so many subtle nuances and feelings that cannot be captured by words. So, as promised, I will boil my mission in life down even further. By the end of this page I will describe to you, the reader, just how my life is going to go down.
At the current moment I am going to college. I am studying to be an architect. By the time I am thirty I should be working as an architect. I will have three college degrees at this point, and have spent 8 years getting those degrees.
My plan towards love and relationships is fairly simple. I just have to find someone who can reciprocate my feelings and ideas. I need to be comfortable and myself for her. That is who I plan on spending the rest of my life with. Kids will come easily, because it is what we do. I hope to have two children, as the American dream states.
As for money, it will come easily. As long as I stay happy, and healthy, the rest will fall in place. Happiness is the root of living a good life. As long as I am staying smiling, and keep a positive attitude, I will be alright. However, in order to facilitate change, you have to be unhappy with your current situation. This makes it extremely difficult to keep in a happy place while continuously changing, but it is possible.
So there it is, my mission in life, boiled down into one simple page. In essence, what I want in life is to be happy, healthy, and loved. It is the vision of every human being since the beginning of time. The details may be a little muddy, but we all want the same thing. It is the nature of humanity.

Generation Y
Generation Y, as defined by multiple media outlets, is the group of people born after 1981 until 2001. It is a group of people who were just coming around when technology was booming. We may not remember rotary telephones, or the first attack on the World Trade Center . The thought of not being around computers may scare us, or make us uneasy. We recall fond memories of nickelodeon cartoons. Cell phones and laptops are by our side, but we are still comfortable having face time with other people. Often described as the echo boom, or the group of children created from baby boomers, we strive to be different from the generations before us.
Well, where does that leave me? Oddly enough, I rest in an ironic part of this equation. Generation Y strives to be different from their given name, naming themselves Millennial’s. This sense of individuality and striving to be different from those before them makes generation Y unique and interesting. I, however find no solace in this description. I am not quite comfortable being described as a Millennial. Calling me a millennial conjures up all sorts of strange images of Justin Beiber, and ipods. I know for a fact that I am not part of that generation. But generation Y makes me seem like I am part of the generation X/Y battle. So, I have figured out a way to define those awkwardly perched in that area between the two generations. That definition being 90s Kids.
90s kids are defined as the people who were born in the mid to late eighties. We grew up in the nineties with fond memories of the Power Rangers, Oregon Trail , and Saturday morning cartoons. Computers were simple, and the games were simpler. The Nintendo Entertainment System had just brought videogames into our living rooms, something unheard of until this point. We remember Paperboy, and Dr. Mario. Warm remembrances of days spent playing outside tend to flood back when we look into our childhood. This tends to counter that of children of today.
The children being brought up today are absolutely swimming in technology. Ipods, Ipads, Iphones, I everything. Its enough to make your head swirl. Even though Generation Y was born in the near infancy of the technology boom we have been surpassed, and find it hard to grasp hold of the technology being thrown at us today. IT will all work out in the end though. As a generation Y person I find it easy to cope with the changing technology. I will miss the outdoors though.

Epic drug test tale.
So, this morning I had a drug test for the new job. I strolled into the office thinking i was gonna ace the test.
![]() |
| Fuck yeah, Drug test. No problem |
I had the utmost confidence in myself. I was ready to go. I had drank a TON of water. Literally a metric TON. The lady handed me the cup, and led me to the facilities. This is where the epic battle begins.
I stood there with little plastic cup in my hand, nothing to worry about. I dont do any drugs, my bladders is full. Lets do this. I whip out, and prepare to unleash the motherfucking fury on this drug test. But i hear a noise outside of the door, and my bladder suddenly goes FUCK NO DUDE. PEOPLE CAN HEAR.
![]() |
| Are you serious? |
I look down and give my man The Look.
ME:Are you serious right now?
DUDEJUNK: Yeah. Totally serious. Someone can hear us
ME: Dude, just do it. We have nothing to worry about.
DUDEJUNK: I know we dont, but she can hear us,
ME: JUST DO IT!
Dudejunk Decided to be an asshole. He sat there. Not a damn drop. SO i decided to start negotiating. I tried bargaining, but nothing was working. Then i remembered a nugget of information someone had told me a while back, about how when you poo, the poo pushes a little on your bladder, maybe thats all i needed to start the flow. I did that, and NOTHING.
SO now, i have a lady waiting outside, waiting for a cup of my urine, and Im sitting on the now full toilet, empty cup in my hand, full bladder, and shy dudejunk. I stand back up and readjust my situation.
Dudejunk decided it still was not gonna happen. So i decided to go for broke.
Time to push.
So I did.
Dudejunk was angry too, and fought back!
But i somehow came out on top, and pushed just enough out to make the test.
Now if you excuse me, the traitor has to relieve himself.
Bastard.

The last day
Today was my last day on the job at the restaurant i worked at. I spent most of the day dilly dallying, to be serious. I honestly had had enough of the place, not the people, just the place. The high stress work environment was putting a stress on my personal relationships, and my relationship with myself.
TO all of those who still work there, i send you my best regards. Most of you are wonderful people, amd i wish you the best.
To the rest.... you can eat a dick.
Oh, and roxxybelle. You were pretty fucking awesome. I wish i could have been able to get to know you outside of work better. You seemed like you would have been a great friend.
I will miss being in a kitchen, but i am ecstatic to be out of the high stress environment.

Jailhouse.
I went into work early today. I figured I would be helping out. I did for a while, then things got strange. Someone showed up looking for me. It was the local police. Apparently there were felony warrants out for me on assault with a deadly weapon, Misdemeanor theft, and felony battery.
To recap WHY this is happening. It is because of my last relationship. When i was with her I could not control my anger. I dont know why. I just couldnt. I would drink to dull the frustrations and dissapointments welling up inside of me from working 50+ hours a week whilst she sat on her ass and did nothing. She demanded money from me at every turn. She basically sucked me dry, and i couldnt take it anymore.
So I punched walls. I broke my hands, and my wrists. i spilled blood everywhere, and somewhere in the fray she was trying to stop me, and i accidentally swung at her.
I would NEVER hit a woman intentionally. She thought i was being malicious, so she slammed the door. I attacked the door, and tore it to splinters, and a piece of the door hit her in the face, hence the deadly weapon part.
Now as for the theft. I grabbed my laptop and my keys and called my father, who came and picked me up. It was my laptop, registered in my name, but since she stored some credit card info on it, I apparently stole that when i left the house.
I have no money for a lawyer, and no defense. I will plead guilty in the morning. And i will probably do 5-10.

Another post about work
So, an opportunity has crossed my path. The opportunity to move on with my career, and get out of a kitchen.
I am super happy that i might have the chance to leave the superbly stressful environment that is a kitchen in a restaurant. That kind of environment surely does not breed creativity, as many of you can see. My blog posts are short, full of pictures, and usually about something stupid. It is as if my mind plays itself as a children's book.
My mind does play itself as a children's book. Just lots of pictures with a few words in between.
So, in other news. I went to goodwill the other day with the lady, and found a helluva deal. Sitting there in the electronics case was The Sims 2. For $4.99. Lightly used. I jumped at the deal, and since I'm going to be an architect in the next few years, i figured it wouldn't help but to practice with a game that originated as an architects program to figure out traffic patterns in home design.
I have become addicted. building houses without extravagance, bare minimum structures for families of 1, 2, 2 with a child, 3 with 1 pair having a child. Using the programming to separate them into duplexes, multilevel homes, single level ranch style houses... I love it.
If you do not have The Sims 2. Buy Steal it.

Minecraft project update
Okay, nerdy time. Minecraft Project update.
Ive dug down another 10 or 12 layers, the strata are more varied now with larger deposits of gravel and dirt. Coal and iron are abundant, and I have seen quite a bit of gold start to emerge.
The lighting seemed a bit wonky, so I went overboard.
| Holy Bejeebus, its getting huge. |
Its rather impressive if you take into account that this is completely Vanilla, as in no cheating. So much Coal went into making the torches.
Making projects like this makes me miss my old minecraft houses.
